Louise Newsome

LouiseAs National Director of Chapters for the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) — the largest women’s networking organization in the country — Louise provides the necessary support and guidance to over 200 Local Chapter Presidents and five Regional Managers nationwide, including evaluating and prioritizing regional needs and Chapter goals; assisting, mentoring and advising Chapter Presidents with initiatives to create powerful, diverse networking communities to empower the Chapters, fostering stability and membership growth. With passion and strong leadership support, Louise upholds membership value along with the mission and integrity of NAPW. Additionally, for the past four years, Louise has served as volunteer NYC Local Chapter President, NAPW’s largest Chapter, where she dedicates her time, entrepreneurial spirit, professional experience and people skills to create a thriving, vibrant community of professional women.

Louise also applies her creativity, experience and dedication to her two companies, Newway LLC and NewsomeColor, providing commercial and residential project management and design services. Her passion for color has made her an industry go-to color expert and she is often sought after to assist with color selection in individual homes and businesses across the country.

Born in Liverpool, England, having moved to the US in 1987, Louise finally became an American citizen in August 2013. She is married 25 years in February and has two children, Sophie, 24 and James,18.
